What is a Death Doula
and why do I need one?
The more I speak with family & friends about their experience with death & dying, one common theme that always comes up is the need for more support.
Yes, there are doctors and hospice nurses, and after the death you have the funeral home. But there is often times a gap where extra support for the dying and their family is needed. This can include guidance in making healthcare decisions & final wishes, emotional support for the dying & their loved ones, a plan for a home funeral, and much more.
I am here to listen to & honor your needs & wishes as you make this sacred transition.
